Regardless,earnings season is still here and there are some notable companies set toreport this week. Pay close attention.

1. Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd.  (Symbol: NYSE: BABA)

Earnings Announcement Date: May 15th, Wednesday, before market open

Market Consensus: EPS: 6.57 RMB ; Revenues: 91.775 billion RMB

Latest quarterly earnings: Third quarter earnings published in March.

EPS: 12.19 RMB (compared with consensus 11.51 RMB); Revenues: 117.28 billion RMB (compared with consensus 118.52 billion RMB)

2. Macy’s Inc. (Symbol: NYSE: M)

Earnings Announcement Date: May 15th, Wednesday, before market open

Market Consensus: EPS: 35¢ ; Revenues: $5.54 billion

Latest quarterly earnings: Fourth quarter earnings published in March.

EPS: $2.73 (compared with consensus $2.53); Revenues: $8.46 billion (compared with consensus $8.4 billion)

3. Cisco Systems, Inc. (Symbol: NASDAQ: CSCO)

Earnings Announcement Date: May 15th, Wednesday, after market close

Market Consensus: EPS: 77¢ ; Revenues: $12.89 billion

Latest quarterly earnings: Second quarter earnings published in Feb.

EPS: 73¢ (compared with consensus 72¢); Revenues: $12.45 billion (compared with consensus $12.43 billion)

Cisco increased quarterly dividend from 33¢to 35¢. Also, the company announced to increase share buyback to $15 billion. 

4. Walmart Inc. (Symbol: NYSE: WMT)

Earnings Announcement Date: May 16th, Thursday, before market open

Market Consensus: EPS: $1.02 ; Revenues: $124.4 billion

Latest quarterly earnings: Fourth quarter earnings published in Feb.

EPS: $1.41 (compared with consensus $1.33); Revenues: $137.74 billion (compared with consensus $137.63 billion)

Company new guidance for FY 2020 (whole year): EPS: $4.91 (compared with previous guidance EPS of $4.71); Same store sales growth: +2.5%~+3.0% (compared with previous guidance as of +2.7%)

5. NVIDIA Corporation. (Symbol: NASDAQ:NVDA)

Earnings Announcement Date: May 16th, Thursday, after market close

Market Consensus: EPS: 80¢ ; Revenues: $2.2 billion

Latest quarterly earnings: Fourth quarter earnings published in Feb.

EPS: 80¢ (compared with consensus 75¢); Revenues: $2.21 billion (compared with consensus $2.22 billion)

Company new guidance for Q1 FY 2020 (first quarter): Revenues: $2.156 billion ~ $2.244 billion (compared with previous guidance Revenue of $2.34 billion)

Company new guidance for FY 2020 (whole year): Revenue growth: +0% (compared with previous -0.4% revenue growth estimation)
