Executives told investors revenue will grow more than 50 percent annually for “multiple” years, according to reports on Reuters, Bloomberg and CNBC. That’s more than 12 percentage points above the previous consensus estimate for next year.
The Nasdaq-100 rose 4.2 percent between Friday, October 2, and Friday, October 9. It was the index’s third straight positive week, and its best performance since early July. Its gain was also twice the advance of the broader S&P 500 index.
The S&P 500 rose 1.2 percent between Friday, April 19, and Friday, April 26. The index also closed at a new all-time high of 2940, with technology and the Nasdaq-100 still leading the charge.
The Golden Dragon Index ($HXC) has surged 9 percent in the last month and is up 28 percent so far in 2019. That’s more than twice the gains of the Nasdaq-100 and SPDR Technology Fund (XLK) over the same periods.
So-called “Dow Theory” teaches that different parts of the market can confirm each other. This is especially true with economically sensitive transportation companies because they often track the business cycle.
